WE ARE CLOSING OUR DOORS.

After much deliberation, prayer, and tears, I must sadly announce that The Blue Bow Foundation, Inc., is closing its doors. We will be effectively dissolving our 501(c)(3) corporation in the coming months. Having met with our Board of Directors and having received unanimous consent, the difficult decision was made largely due to our inability to commit the time, resources, and funds needed to continue our mission of providing ongoing emotional and financial support to police families.
The past eight years have been a rollercoaster ride to say the least; but we managed to take something from a dinner table conversation and create an organization that legitimately reached and helped people. We were never big, we were never flashy, and we learned a lot of tough lessons along the way; but walking through life's greatest challenges with our blue families, helping them with what we could in their times of need, made it all worth it. So while it is indeed sad, we are simply ending this chapter and moving on to the next. The people involved in our amazing organization will continue the good work they've always done, just in different ways.
We'd like to thank EVERYONE who contributed--financially, as a volunteer, as a team member, and as a board member--throughout the years to make our mission succeed. We will be reaching out to our members and regular donors so they can make arrangements to cancel their recurring donations. All remaining funds and assets will be disseminated in accordance with applicable law. Filings with the State of Texas and the Internal Revenue Service will also be made in accordance with applicable law.
We will be keeping this page up until such time as the organization officially dissolves. Until that time, you may still reach us at info@bluebow.org.
Thank you again for the last eight years. May God bless each of you, and may we all continue to support all those who regularly sacrifice for our safety.
